Rainbow Reflections Dragonfly

This Rainbow Reflections dragonfly box frame is a colourful and unique artwork. Its simplicity can convey any number of ideas from the simple expression of hope to the idea of love and equality. This would make a lovely LGBTQ gift for Valentine’s Day or any other occasion.

I took offcut strips from some of the background papers that I use to cover the inside of the frame and then added the dragonfly made with a rainbow sequence of crackle glass and fire polished beads that radiate colour. Even the acetate wings are printed with a coloured vein pattern.

The white box frame is 20cm (8 ins) square, 3.3 cm deep and has a hanging hook on the back. It could also be displayed on a shelf.
