Notus Greek Wind God Framed Print

This framed print of Notus, Greek God of the South Wind is one of the four cardinal winds of ancient Greece. The image was digitally created from my photograph of a statue known as Diodoumenos or the Diadem Bearer, which is in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.

The image conveys something of the god’s nature as a summer wind, hot, desiccating and bringer of late summer storms. The giclee print is approx 20 cm (7.9 ins) square and has been mounted and framed in black wood. The total size is 35 cm (13.75 ins) square.
