My Vision of David Print

My Vision of David print gives Michelangelo’s iconic statue a new look that is at once bright, colourful and filled with vitality. The statue stands in the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence. Michelangelo was only twenty-six years old when it was created between 1501-04.

The statue was a revolutionary depiction of the biblical figure of David, showing him before his attack on Goliath, with a slingshot over his shoulder. Originally, the slingshot and the tree stump behind his right leg were gilded and the statue had a gilded victory-garland. I like to think that the thermal colours in my image give back some of that golden glow.

The print is available in two sizes: A5 (148 x 210 mm) and A4 (210 x 297 mm). It is printed on quality 300gsm paper with a gloss finish and will be despatched in a stiff-backed envelope. UK postage is included in the price.
