Indigo Glen Dragonfly Art

If you dream of a secluded cottage surrounded by deep blue hills and a sparkling lake then my Indigo Glen dragonfly artwork is for you. I have used seven different fabrics plus some blue book cover fabric to create the landscape. Silver mesh clouds and turquoise glitter card for the lake. A deep blue cabochon bead with a silver tone keyring clip makes an atmospheric moon that is casting its light across the glen. A beaded blue dragonfly soars above the lake.

The fabrics are scraps from old neck ties, lace doilies, ribbon and sample books. I have also added some green plastic ‘fir trees’.

The white shadow box frame is 25 cm square. It has a hanging hook for wall display but could also stand on a shelf. It would make a unique gift for anyone who loves textile art, wide open countryside or mountain scenery and would add a special touch to any room.
