Gathering Storm Mixed Media

This Gathering Storm mixed media box frame certainly has drama. A thunderous sky with darkening clouds, the glimmer of faceted glass and a ‘dog fight’ battle between two dragonflies. Trees are silhouetted on the skyline.

The recycled elements creating this atmospheric scene include a fabric hillside, gauze clouds lined with gunmetal grey chains and darkly sparkling pendant disks. The dragonflies are made up from an interesting mix of new and pre-loved beads in shades of silver and black.
